Although parquet flooring restoration / sanding is the predominant part of the business, we also restore staircases to their former glory. This could be in preparation for a traditional central runner or to fully expose; the results are staggering!
We have to date completed countless restorations and all to the highest standards which makes us very experienced in our field. All restoration work is dust free so we guarantee to leave your home once work is completed to the same cleanliness as we found it. We therefore not only sand floors we also undertake all manner of restoration. Period blocks are sourced to make sure every repair / restoration is as close to when the floor was first laid.This makes Harpers Restorations quite unique in our field.

Reclaimed blocks are cut accurately to tie in perfectly with existing pattern.

Jason worked wonders on my poor neglected floor - removed all the concrete that had been filling in the gaps and then replaced with blocks that had been left in the garage before sanding and finishing. The difference Jason made to my floors is quite remarkable. Having taken out two old 1960s fireplaces, there was a great deal of renovation to be done. I was quite amazed with the final result; the floors look remarkable. I would also add that there was no dust during the sanding process!
